Hello friends, welcome to my bio page. My name is Al and it is my pleasure to introduce myself to you. I am the owner and chief photographer of Beautiful Memories Studio and have been in professional photography for over 29 years.
My story of photography journey started at a very young age of 6. My dad bought me a 126 roll film camera (do you remember film photography anymore?) with which I took a picture of a lion at a zoo . Together in the darkroom with my dad, we made an 8x10 B&W print. I was hooked.
Over the years, I have been trusted to take pictures at many beautiful events such as weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, quinceaneras, sweet 16s, portraits, modeling Fashion shows, corporate events, commercial catalog, architecture, aerial, interior design, and more and I want to continue to do more.
I have been privileged to have taken pictures for real fun projects. Like behind the scenes for the Real Housewives of New York and New Jersey, JerseyLicious TV show, photographing the album covers of Ron Tyson of The Temptations, taking catalog photography for Automann, Furla, Sachika, Chameleon Jewelry and more, being part of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week, New Jersey Fashion Week, Brooklyn Fashion Week, attending and photographing parties for Kelly Rowland, Alicia Keys, Julie Pacino, and more.
I greatly enjoy capturing memories that will give a recollection of beautiful moments, events and things and not just for today but for many years to come. I also do my part to store and maintain the pictures, videos and other works so they will be around for a long time and plan to do so for many years to come.
We were one of the earliest digital darkroom adopters from having our own full color digital printers, multiple data and print servers, photo and video workstations, back as early as 1994. We are experts in Adobe Photoshop & Light Room for image editing, graphics & multimedia. In addition, we use multiple NLVE (Non-Linear Video Editing) software packages for video editing, rendering and output. We backup up our data constantly in multiple locations and are able to recovery most events in a very short time. Because of our vast experience in many styles, locations and types of photography, we can promise a no-compromise, best in class solution for you.
